Father’s Day Weekend

 

June 15-17th

What a fun Father’s Day weekend for Tom. It included lots of his favorite things….his kids, his wife, his Aunt and Uncle, pizza, biking, an O’s game,  and grilling out! Life was good for Tom, husband, Daddy!

Happy Father’s Day to one great Dad and Husband.  You work so hard to take care of us and we appreciate you every day! You know how to have fun and love with all your heart! We love you soooo much!

These pictures are all out of order but I really wanted to start with the ones of Tom with the kids. They are what make him a Daddy. Summer was really into shopping and making gifts for her Daddy and this was Tucker’s first Father’s Day!

Present time! You can see that Summer was ready to help open what she had just helped wrap! LOL “Daddy you’re the best!”

A Father’s Day Orioles game! We were lucky enough to have the Baltimore Orioles playing in Atlanta on Father’s Day. What a perfect gift for my Dad and fun for Tom, Uncle Jerry and I to tag along to as well. Happy Father’s Day to my wonderful Dad! We sure had a great time at the game (and it helps that the O’s won!).

Tom and I did a 64 mile bike ride with Uncle Jerry, Aaron Sims and Brian Oliver! So fun! I was only supposed to do the 28 miler and the men talked me into riding farther! I was sore but I did it!

June Water Fun

 

We have been outside in the water a lot beating this Atlanta heat. We have gone to the pool, some water fountains and to the lake beach (don’t have any pictures in June of the lake). It’s been fun and we stay busy!

A new suit that came with a skirt. “Mama take my picture in my new bathing suit.”

Tucker slept through most of our visit to the fountains. Summer had a great time running, kicking and splashing in the fountains.

Member Night at the Zoo

June 9th

Tom, Aunt Lis, Summer, Tucker and I went to the Member Night at the Zoo. All of us got in under our pass. When they asked how many kids and what ages I said, “17, 3, and 8 months.” They didn’t question me so my 30 year old sister got in as 17 and FREE!  Gotta love it!

We had a great time and continue to love our zoo pass.

PS Sorry Tom- I guess you took most of the pictures and we didn’t get any of you. We know you were there!

 

Summer wanted to take her panda bear to show the panda bears at the zoo. The Flamingos were very awake and active this evening.

An Afternoon in the Park 6/2/12

 

Tom and I took the kids to Little Mulberry Park before going out to dinner in the beginning of June. Summer has gotten so good with her bike. It’s a glider bike without pedals. The idea is she can learn to have good balance and then she won’t need training wheels. She really has learned a lot of balance and zooms around. We have gotten it more decorated to be more “princess” like and she loves to ride it even more.

Sweet Tucker! He had just turned 8 months old. No teeth yet but they were soon to come!

Tucker is 10 months old! 7/30/12

Just a quick post so you can see Tucker at 10 months! Into the double digits he goes! I can’t believe I am starting to think about his first birthday (gasp-dare I say it?). Time is flying! We are gearing up this week for our first big family beach trip to Ocean City, MD. This is my childhood beach and I can’t wait for us all to be together in MD. Tucker will be a mess I am sure…sand, sand and more sand. He has his 4 teeth and is the fastest crawler. He eats ANYTHING! We were just at a party and he had 3 pieces of frozen watermelon, pizza crust and before I knew it Summer was sharing her cupcake! The second baby sure lucks out. Summer didn’t have any cupcake until her first birthday.

Summer got her quilt and got in on the action. I almost had them both on it but Tucker got away fast!

This was taken at the gym today! One of his favorite teachers there at the child care center decided to spike his hair! So cute! I also love that you can see his teeth!
