Happy 10th Birthday Summer Lynn!

I can't believe you are 10!!! What an amazing girl you are. Kind, sweet and caring. I see some tween peaking through but I know that's normal.

This past year you started 4th grade and started a new competition cheer squad- The Hebron Hornets. You have had the best 4th grade year with a teacher that fosters kindness and teaches with such positivity! You have become a reader and this makes us so happy and so proud! 

As for cheering you placed all over the board for the competitions with your squad (1st, 2nd, 4th, 3rd) but all of you worked so hard that you WON at Nationals in Orlando!

We spent the summer at the lake and you went to visit Aunt Beth! We also went to Ocean City Maryland for the beach and to see friends. 

We decided to get our Annual Passes to Disney again in October. We actually took a year off from them! So surprising and you are loving it more then ever. All of us can ride more rides now and it's fun to do as a family. We also went on our first Disney Cruise this past spring break!
In February you cut your hair short and donated all your long hair for children's wigs. BIG HEART!

This year you decided you wanted a trip for your birthday, specifically a trip with your Cousin Hadley. You tried for Paris and then New York but you were happy to settle on Disney. We are making it a girls trip with Cousin Hadley and Aunt Kelly and Mommy and staying at the Contemporary on the monorail! We have some surprises for you when you are there and can't wait to go!

Along with cheer you have continued private tumble lessons, horseback riding and some tennis! You are one busy girl!

Your favorite shirt right now is your "Be Kind" shirt and we love how you have the biggest heart!

Soooooo this post may be a week last but I have to admit I have been struggling with our baby turning 5! FIVE! We all know that by now five is a hard one for me. Its leaving the true toddler, preschool days and entering little girl stage!

****Five! Piper Leigh is officially five. She woke up super early-5:15 (and we had a 2 hour ice delay so sleeping in was the plan). Tom Cubby Zimmerman is away so I convinced her to sleep with me. She did for 2 hours and she held my hand. ❤️ She was still 4. At 7:25, the time she was born, we started texting Husband and FaceTimed once he was able (he was on a plane).
Next up was gifts, and we were able to do a birthday breakfast at Waffle House thanks to the school delays! Then Piper’s school birthday and more fun to come!
I love Little so much. She’s our baby. She’s fierce. She loves with all of her heart. She’s beautiful. She’s smart. She smiles big. She’s our Piper Leigh.

And yes I may have teared up some today and I probably will some more. She’s our baby and now she’s 5. Just like that.

Birthday Fun continued! I took Tucker and Piper to a New Mexican restaurant near Summer’s cheer practice. While I was in the bathroom with Piper, Tucker talked to the hostess about getting Piper a free dessert and asking if they have a hat for her to wear. 😂💙

The genuine love these 2 have for each other melts my heart. He was so so so excited!
Piper also had a girls afternoon getting her nails done with her BFFs, Sadie and Tenley and having a cookie! It was a treat filled day for sure! Happy 5th Birthday Piper!***

This year you went from a toddler to a little girl! We love you so much! You finished 3 year old preschool and entered Pre-K. Your teachers are Mrs.Sue and Ms. Jackie and they were Summer and Tucker's Pre-K teachers and this makes my heart so happy!

You have been in ballet this past 2 school years and had your first recital in May. It was precious! You also went back to gymnastics-without Mom-Mom in the room. You let me take you and you did with with Sadie. Since then we have transitioned you into tumble class! 

Your birthday party was a Unicorn Tea Party and quite a hit! You truly loved it and it made mommy and daddy so happy!

You still love love love baby dolls and playing Family. Its precious and I love to hear and see you using your imagination. Crafting, your glider bike and reading books are also favorites of yours!

You sure have your sassy side and are a Daddy's girl for sure. Your meltdowns can be epic and we have Piper stories for sure. All filled with love! One recently was waking Mommy up at 1 am to make sure I had sent Daddy in to say goodnight! You sure keep us on our toes for sure. 

You love playing with Tucker-outside exploring, building forts, and playing games. I love to see you 2 together. 

You and Summer love to play dolls. She has been letting you play with her and her American Girl dolls!

You say hims and hers and we love it! You have this little voice when you say "Sure, Summer, Tucker" and more that we don't want you to loose anytime soon. 

Piper, you are so full of personality and we love you so so so so much! Stay little! Say you!

Happy 7th Birthday Tucker! 

We spent several weeks celebrating you and you LOVED it! We started with your bowling birthday party that was so much fun! We bowled, ate pizza, at FunFetti Cupcakes, played a laser beam game and tons of arcade games! You won a stuffed dog that you named Strike, a measuring tape and some other random prizes. Our host Ms. Connie was amusing and all had a great time-kids and parents. This made Mommy and Daddy very happy! You were so appreciative and loved it.

Mom-Mom and Pops took you to Goats on the roof on your birthday (Mommy and Daddy were traveling back from Italy). You got lots of presents in the mail!

Mommy came and had lunch with you at school and brought you a cupcake, Nachos and a cutie. Some of your favorite foods. 

We even squeezed in a Cabos Birthday Dinner where you got your gifts (Laser tag guns Mommy is regretting, a new helmet and legos)from Mommy and Daddy! So much fun celebrating!

This past year you have been busy as always. You brain never stops and you are always creating and problem solving. You finished Kindergarten with Mrs. Smathers and started first grade with Mrs. Coffee. 2 of the best teachers and such amazing fit for you.

You continue to work hard in Karate. We had a busy summer and weren't able to practice as much. You decided to try any way for your blue belt and didn't make it this time. We were so proud of you for trying and know that you will get it the next round. This was a good learning experience for you.

You are also continuing to play Baseball. Last spring you were on the Braves and now this Fall you are a Yankee. You have moved up to Pee Wee which mean no more T and sometimes the kids pitch. You have been great with your hitting and sometimes even get a chance to be the catcher! Daddy was able to be an Assistant Coach this season and Mommy has loved seeing the 2 of you practice and play together.

Some other fun activities you have done or tried include tennis, Camp Invention and Swim team. Tennis kept you busy and you are a good hitter. Camp Invention was your most favorite camp and activity of the summer. You made the most inventions out of any camper. I could barely fit them all in my SUV. You made a pool table, ping pong table, robot car that followed a track, movable kitten, house for the kitten and so much more.

You also tried Swim Team this year and did great in that. You came in first several times, second and once third. We were so proud of you! You are a fish!

Our last Disney trip was October 2017 and you discovered you loved the Barnstormer. We are going again this month (October 2018) and you can't wait to ride that ride again! You are also more into Star Wars now and can't wait to see the new Toy Story Land.

Your listening ears are getting better and your heart is still so big. You genuinely care for others and it make Mommy and Daddy so happy. You love to solve problems and work with your hands. Legos continue to be a big hit. Along with nerf guns and having battles outside with the neighbor kids. 

We love you so much Tucker! I still cant believe you are 7!!

We cannot wait to see what this next year brings to you!
