July was a busy month for birthdays! Summer loved each and every party she went to!

Summer seemed to take her bowling very seriously! She sure doesn’t get that from me. I had to convince her to use this orange ball by reminding her it is Daddy’s favorite color. All the others were just too heavy.

This birthday was a backyard race track full of fun things to do! Summer loved the Cars themed Bounce House. It had a bounce area and a slide!

Next Up: Sage’s 4th Birthday Party!

So let me tell you I was super sad not to be able to go to Sage’s Birthday Party. The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie and Ariel is my favorite Princess!

Also on a side note as appreciative as I was of Daddy taking Summer and remembering to take pictures (way to go Daddy) he didn’t get any of the Birthday Girl, Sage! Sorry about that Sage. Happy 4th Birthday anyways and thanks for inviting Summer to a fun Princess filled party!

Dance Camp-July 16th-20th

Summer attended a local “Princess Dance Camp” in July at Heather Wayne’s Dance Academy right around the corner from us. A friend’s daughter had tried in the month before and had raved about it. Summer did one camp a month while out of school (June was Soccer) so we decided dance for July would be fun.

Summer was there from 9-12 and they practiced dances, made crafts and had a snack. Everything they did was themed for their final “Ever After” performance on the last day. To say Summer LOVED it was an understatement. I was really glad I had signed her up for “Happy Feet” after her preschool once a week for the fall.

what more could a girl ask for?

Day 1: Summer wanted her hair in 2 buns (like Mama does sometimes) and her Cupcake tutu dress! She also wanted to get a picture with her baby brother (who was 9 months old at the time).

Day 1: Getting all settled in. They had one lead instructor-Ms.Nicole and several Tween age girls helping. Summer was excited and ready to go!

Day 2: Summer wanted her “ballet outfit” today and her hair in a headband. The girls knows what she wants! :)

Day 3: Purple tutu with Minnie shirt and princess crown. Time for another picture with Tucker.

Day 4: Blue Tutu dress and ballerina bun!

Day 5: The performance day!!!!

Here are the girls all together getting ready to perform. Summer saved her favorite princess outfit for this day…a pink tutu with a shirt that has Disney Princesses on it wearing tutus.

Performance time…….

They got to have “tea” at these sweet tables set up with all their crafts they had made all week long…a placemat, decorations, etc. Summer loved dancing with the teachers.

Daddy was working form home this day so he was able to take a break and see Summer’s performance. I think Tucker enjoyed it as well. ;)

Mama couldn’t resist getting her sweet girl some flowers for after her first performance. We also went to Mexican for a special lunch. This ballerina princess loves some guacamole!

Can’t wait to see how her “Happy Feet” class goes in the fall!

Swim-July 2012

Summer has loved taking Swim Lessons at Swim Atlanta. She was in the Preschool 2 class this summer and it went well. I noticed things really started clicking at the end of July and she was doing more independent swimming.

We didn’t end up signing her back up in August because of family vacation and we just got busy but we practiced her skills and I am really happy with her improvement.

We will pick swim lessons back up in April!
