October Fall Festivities! October 1st-17th

Happy Fall Y'all!
It has been a busy start to the Fall season this October! Wait to you see what busy Miss Summer has been up to. It's been a lot of fun and she is wearing her Mama out trying to keep up with her! :)

A sneak peek at Summer's Halloween costume. This is a picture I had taken and then changed a bit to send out to friends and family. She LOVES her costume. She threw a fit when it was time to take it off. I am trying to teach her "Woof Woof" but she kind of blows air and then just resorts to "Meow Meow". Oh well, at least she likes her costume!

This past Sunday we headed to Burt's Farm. There is a picture below where you can see how crowed it was. OH MY! We had a blast though. This is actually at the end of the day after Summer picked out a Cinderella Pumpkin and a blue one and is sitting on them having a drink and a rest!

She loved the scarecrows!

Tom would place Summer in the middle of the pumpkins and snap lots of photos of her crawling out! When you flip through the camera it looks like a flip book of her moving across the pumpkins!

This is soooo much fun!

See-ya! I am out of here. LOOK at the crowds of people!!

We ran into the Cardillo Family as we headed to a Fall Festival in a neighborhood near us.

They had hot air balloon for tethered rides. Unfortunately they we running late for getting them up and going and it was very very crowded so we did not get to go on one and really weren't able to do much at this Festival. It was fun to see the balloons though.

Another day, another fall adventure!
Here Summer is petting rabbits that she kept shouting "Meow Meow" at. Bunnies don't really make a noise so it's a hard one to teach her a sound. I just tell her what they are and that they hop. She loved them though!

This Fall Adventure was at the small little pumpkin patch near our house. Summer and I took Emmy and her friend for Emmy's birthday. The girls really did have a great time. It was a lot more fun then I expected. Plus we were the only ones there so it was great. Here is Emmy with her friend Haily after the pony ride.

Emmy on her pony!

Emmy would chase this piglet and catch it. The piglet would squeal and squeal. It was pretty funny to watch the whole thing!

Petting a "Meow, Meow"-I mean bunny! :)

Summer loved the ponies and wasn't afraid of them at all. Of course I had some various hair pieces for her that didn't go over very well! It's worth a try!

September-16 months

So believe it or not I have been doing one post a week this past month! I just had a lot to catch up on. Here are all the other pictures from September that haven't been seen! Summer continues to grow and change. She really is trying to repeat lots of words so watch what you say. She heard me say, "Dumb, Dumb" and repeated that for a week. Opps! :)
Meow, Meow still tends to be her favorite. She also goes around the house pointing at her pictures and saying baby. You would imagine with all the pictures we have of her that's all we really here. She signs more when she wants to eat. It works. She still loves breakfast the best but is eating more and more. Don't know where it is all going but feel a growth spurt on the way.
Here's sweet Summer in September!
Enjoy! :)

I love this picture! I was only able to catch it with my camera phone but it came out pretty good. She was patiently waiting for a snack. So sweet!

Daddy was able to come join us for gymnastics one morning. Summer loved having him there. It was also teddy bear day so Summer brought Oatmeal, a Build-a-Bear that her cousin Hadley made her.

Summer and her friend Addison are in the same class. They hang together on the bar a lot but of course it is always hard to get a picture!

One of Summer's favorite toys is her Little People. Here she is lining them up on them up on the coffee table and then next she puts them in a bowl she found in the kitchen.

So proud! Look at that tongue!

Emmy mad Summer a car out of a cardboard box. Summer loved Emmy pushing her around in it!

Berry time! Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries! YUM!

Summer found my sunglasses!

So I had to start getting Summer cups of ice water when I get a drink somewhere with a straw. She really likes my Starbucks Frapps but so far is happy with her water. Here she is already to take Daisy on a walk with her water, sunglasses and hat. She is a mess and always makes me smile! :)

Daddy and Summer pointing to each others mouths!

Vroom-Vrooms!
Summer loves to play with cars. Of course I had to find a pack with a pink one in it.

More Gymnastics pictures! She is learning to jump and really likes to "smash" the bug to jump off the spring board.

Family Reunion Part 2-Sunday

So Sunday, September 5th (yes this post is a month behind) was the actual day of the Family Reunion. We started with a yummy brunch, then played outside-the park, bubbles and water table for the little ones and adult beverages and the game corn hole for the "adults". We also took plenty of pictures, went to the pool and had a cook out. It was great to spend time together and be entertained by the 6 kids.

The group shot! All 23 of us together.

Our shirts had a family tree on the back so here they are from behind and some of us are pointing out where we are on the tree.

Pool fun! Summer is actually in the umbrella float. First time she has been in a float. With her ISR swim lessons they encourage them not to get used to floatation devices so all summer long I held her or she "swam" in the baby pool. I bought this last summer and decided we could give a try on our last pool day.

Aunt Rita designed our family tree and Mom put it on this cake and we had the tree on the back of our T-shirts.
