Christmas Day 2011!

Don't look shocked...but yes here is Christmas Day! So I was moving right along with the blog and boom my babies got sick (and still are). That's okay. This blog will help me with my scrapbooks that are very very behind! :)

It was a Merry and Bright Christmas.......

Enjoy :)

Our tree with all the gifts for the kids! They were super good and Santa knew it. Santa used special "Santa" wrapping paper (in red) for his gifts!

Santa left a special note for Summer and Tucker on the back of his plate of goodies. He ate them all up and drank all the coffee! ;)

Hello Kitty was peeking out of Summer's stocking!

Summer was too excited to pose for a picture. It was the sweetest thing. She kept looking behind her in amazement at the gifts! This is the first year she understood the concept of Santa more and was really excited more about the presents then the wrapping paper and boxes!

Santa listened and brought Summer everything on her list! Here Summer is very happy with her Snow White Barbie!

Tucker is thrilled with his construction set, can't you tell (I don't even think we have opened it yet but thank you Santa for all of Tucker's gifts. We needed some boy toys).

Cinderella (Cindereena as Summer says it) and her horse from Mommy and Daddy.

Mommy and Daddy got this bike for a really good deal and decided to give it to Summer for Christmas. She has been asking for pedals. It's a little tricky for her right now (not fully age appropriate for a 2 1/2 year old). We were able to move the princess bag to he Kazam and now she's back to her balance bike just fine!

My most precious presents!

I got a Hello Kitty Christmas shirt to wear Christmas Day. Summer was thrilled!

Family photos are getting trickier and trickier! Tom has his "This is MY holiday sweater" t shirt on that he wears every year.

Tucker's First Christmas-2 months old

Summer's 3rd- 2 1/2 years old

I love the look on Tucker's face!

More Christmas mess to play in-this time at Mom-Mom and Pops' house!

You gotta love Pops' Christmas Day outfit...suspenders and Santa "Believe" shirt!

Aunt Lis and Tucker

Summer is adding some "sparkles" to our Christmas Day dessert!

The not so easy for a 2 year old Hello Kitty puzzle!

Grandma Susie and Grandpa Max drove from Indiana and made it for Christmas dinner!

What a wonderful Christmas it was! Summer enjoyed receiving gifts and was the best at passing out gifts. She remembered doing some of the shopping with us and that made it really special. I want her to understand about the importance of giving to others. We were fortunate enough to help other families with their Christmas lists this year and Summer helped so I hope she starts to get a full understanding of Christmas giving.

Tucker is all tuckered out after a fully day of Christmas celebrating!

On to December...then January...then February... :)

Christmas Eve 2011

Christmas Eve 2011!

Here they come! The rest of the Christmas posts (then of course I have the rest of December, and January to catch up on). I will get there! :)

Summer and Tucker were dressed in their coordinating outfits. Tucker's "tie" matched Summer's dress. These are the outfits they wore for our Christmas card.

Sleepy little guy!

Spending time with Aunt Lis!

Mom-Mom, Pops and their grandkids!

Dinner time! Tom cooked a yummy yummy meal for us! I am so lucky he likes to cook and use his Big Green Egg!

Melissa and her friend Damian.

Tom, Summer and I getting ready to eat.

Tucker got to hang out with us in the dining room in his glider while we ate!

Time to get ready to leave Santa his goodies! Look at those pretty Christmas cookies!

Here Summer is adding carrots for the reindeer.

Summer also decided that Santa needed coffee with his treats instead of milk. This was completely her idea. Very sweet!

Everything is ready to go! It sat up high so Daisy wouldn't help herself to Santa's goodies!

Tucker was sound asleep throughout the whole process.

Tom to read "Twas the Night Before Christmas".

Cuddles with Mommy!

Meltdown time! It was very late and Summer was overly tired and overly excited (and maybe even anxious about Santa).

Christmas Cookies with Dada!

Tom made Christmas cookies with Summer! It was a 3 day process and it was sure worth the wait for the final product. I think Santa was impressed as well!

Step 1: Make the dough! Summer and her Dada (my Dada is a phrase I hear a lot) made the cookie dough after Tom got off work one night before bedtime.

It's yummy!!!

Step 2: Roll out the dough and use cookie cutters to cut out the cookies!

Step 3: Decorate!! This was Christmas Eve. Summer was very excited to finish up the cookies for Santa!

Summer loved making the cookies with her Daddy! They were very yummy and worth the wait!

Tucker's 3 month and 4 month Updates!

Tucker turned 4 months old yesterday (1/30/12) and I just can't believe it! As I went to do his 4 month post I realized I never posted his 3 month post as I was trying to go in order! :)

So here are his 3 month and 4 month photos with his puppy and on the quilt. Also included are his Dr's pictures from his 4 month appointment today!

My oh my has my little guy grown from his last appointment at 2 months.

He weighs 13. 6 oz (gained almost 2 pounds). 50%tile

He now is 25.5" long (gaining 2 inches) and is in the 71%tile.

Tucker continues to be such a sweet baby. He loves to cuddle and is very easy going. He "talks" a lot now and Summer tries to make words out of what he is saying. He is almost rolling over from back to tummy and LOVES his playmat and most any baby toy we give him. His smiles are big and tears very few. He isn't fully sleeping through the night yet...yes I know it's all me but he's just so sweet I can't help it. I know once I move him from our room (he sleeps in a moses basket by our bed) to his crib it will help with him sleeping through the night.

Overall he is such a good baby and we love seeing all his changes.

Oh and his GIGGLE! We can't get enough of it!

Okay on to the pictures..... sigh...4 months already....

Sound asleep before his 4 month Dr's appointment!

A happy talker before the shots. Poor thing. He only started to cry on the second one.

One healthy baby!
