Wow! Where do we start? Another year! Summer is turning 3!!!
Summer we love you so much and you are growing into such a wonderful, caring, funny, smart, beautiful little girl! You just shine! I don’t even know where to start. You talk so much and have so much to say. You make nicknames for things…our favorite being Tuck for Tucker. You are the only one who calls him Tuck and we love that. You started preschool this year, became a big sister and grew from being a toddler to a little girl. You know so much and probably even more we don’t know about. You know all your colors and your favorite one is yellow.
You adore Tucker. He is your best friend, and the “cutest baby ever” and you tell us these things all the time. You love to hold him, help with him and show him things. This warms our hearts and love that you have adjusted so well to being a big sister.
We love to hear you say your name, count, sing your ABC’s, play pretend but most of all the way you say, “I love you.” You love with all your heart.
Your giggle is contagious and so genuine. Daddy reads “The Tickle Monster” to you and even though you know when you are going to be tickled (because you have the story memorized and can “read” it to us) you are so happily “surprised” by the tickles.
You are in to so many things….books, riding your bike, bubbles, coloring, drawing, Disney, Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake and more.
This year you aren’t having a huge birthday party because we are going to Disney World and you don’t know yet! We leave on Thursday May 3rd! We just can’t wait to see your face when you meet Mickey, Minnie and all your favorite Princesses. You did already have 2 celebrations and of course we are going to celebrate today!
I know there is so much more and I just can’t believe that our sweet Summer Lynn is turning 3! Happy Birthday baby girl! We lovey you!
Here’s your first 2 celebrations for your 3rd birthday.
Happy 3rd Birthday!
Your favorite cupcakes are Funfeti so that’s what we decided to make for your birthday party at school. You love to help in the kitchen and this day you were dressed as a princess to help make princess cupcakes!
It’s hard to see but in the middle is Summer’s handprint (don’t worry she had clean hands).
Mix then bake time!
For Summer’s school party we went with the princess theme! After Summer helped make the cupcakes I decorated them into princess cupcakes. Rapunzel is Summer’s favorite princess (at the moment) so I made sure we had some Rapunzel plates along with the other princesses.
Summer was super excited to see the finished cupcakes the morning of the party at school.
Summer needed to wear her school shirt for school (petting farm day) so we paired it with a matching tutu and she was all set to be a princess for her first celebration.
Summer got to stand in front of her class while they sang happy birthday to her. She loved it!
Time to give them a try! Yum! (although Summer had sampled plenty before)
Summer with Ms. Mary and Ms. Melanie
Summer’s next celebration was at Mommy and Me. We decided to give Summer her cupcake necklace for an early present before Daddy had to travel for work. It came in a cupcake and Summer was very happy about her cupcake dress and necklace.
Time to celebrate at Mommy and Me! You happily stood in the middle of the circle while everyone sang to you!
The birthday girl in front of the party food!
Mickey sandwiches (made by Daddy) and the Mickey snacks. The theme for Mommy and Me was Mickey and Minnie!
Another fun birthday celebration!
SNEAK PEEK:
I have been busy tonight! Here are some birthday decoration I put out for you to find in the morning. This is the first year that your birthday didn’t fall on the weekend and on your party day! We want your birthday to be special!
Some gifts for the morning time. Tucker got Summer a gift and Allie got a new bed. Plus some cards and a gift that were mailed to Summer. More gifts after Summer’s birthday dinner, in Disney and Summer will be getting a big girl bed with new bedding!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUMMER!!!!
