A Tennis Tournament and Mommy's New Camera 5/21-5/26

Tom and I both played in a Tennis Tournament May 21-23rd. Tom won in his division and I lost but we both had fun. I brought Summer to watch Daddy play in her new tennis dress. She loved carrying around 2 tennis balls!

Everyone kept asking where her tennis shoes were. She has some but they are Nike and this was an Adidas outfit!

NEW CAMEERA PHOTOS!!!

So I got an early Birthday present from my wonderful husband, a DSLR Cannon Rebel T2. I am super excited and alreday love how quickly it takes pictures! I decided I would play around with it while Summer got to try out her new bubble blower!

The pictures are so clear and the camera is so fast!

Summer soon lost interest in the bubbles and was more interested in the bubble solution.

Being a model is tiring. I think I will lay down and have a rest for a second or 2 (literally that's how long her "rest" was.)

Summer's Aunt Kelly mailed me a CD with pictures from their visit here around Summer's birthday. Thanks Aunt Kelly! These are some good ones. I can't wait to have Hadley and Summer together again!

May 11th-20th- Catch Up Time Part 2!

Warm weather is here in Georgia! We have been playing outside a lot. Just wait to you view what Little Miss Summer has been up to. Such a busy girl for 1! She LOVES the water, as you will soon see! After this posting I am pretty much caught up! Thanks for being so patient. Hope you are having a good week! :)

Summer's first adventure to the pool. We brought some of her toys and as usual Summer was fearless in the water. She is a water baby!

And she's off....she just keeps heading into the water no matter how deep it gets!

Here is Summer in her car after returning from a backyard, baby pool play date at Ms. Misty's.

Summer and her car BOTH needed a bath. We took the car in the backyard and with the water there was mud! Summer doesn't mind being dirty as far as I can tell so far.

I decided the car needed a shower from the watering bucket. Summer didn't feel like this was a good "Kodak Moment."

Summer has finished her first set of ISR(Infant Swimming Resource) lessons. She can now flip over and float on her own. So if she was to fall in the pool that is what she would do. It's pretty amazing to see.

Our last Mommy and Me for the year! I really should post a picture from the first to now. She has changed sooooo much. She was only 4 months when we started. I think I will do that in a future blog.

We were at a cook out when the skies opened up and it started pouring down rain. I wanted to get a quick family photo so we did one inside.

Tom and I went to see Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw one Saturday night. It was a great concert!

Summer decided to climb in her car seat with her Easter egg. I guess she was ready to go somewhere. Instead of going for a car ride we headed outside to do some bubbles (above).

We had lunch together....peanut butter and jellies, bananas and cheerios for Summer and chips for Mommy.
