Party Time!

Summer Lynn turned one on May 1st and what a celebration she had! I still can't believe my sweet Little Bit is ONE! What an amazing year it has been. So many changes and so much growth. It just keeps getting better. Tom and I love being parents! Every day Summer brings such joy, happiness and amusement. She is walking everywhere, eating more foods, pointing to what she wants, saying words and just turning into a toddler.

She had her 12 month Dr's appointment this past week and she weighs 19lbs 3.5 oz and is 29 1/2 inches (20% in weight and 63% in height).

Here's Summer's first Birthday! We were so lucky to have her Grandpa Max, Grandma Susie, Uncle Joe, Aunt Kelly and Cousin Hadley come to celebrate from Indiana. We were also excited to have GAB (Great Aunt Beth) and GUJ (Great Uncle Jerry) to come from North Carolina. From South Carolina we had the Ailstock family and of course from GA we had Mom-Mom, Pops, Aunt Lis and all of our friends! Thanks sooooo much!!!!

Summer's First Birthday invitation. The party started at 1:44pm, the time she was born.

Before the party started Summer wore a cupcake play outfit and got a gift early from Mom-Mom and Pops. Her and her Cousin Hadley had a great time playing with it!

So sweet! The girls had the best time visiting and playing with each other. We wish we lived closer so we could have the girls together more often.

Summer needed a nap but was too excited to sleep before her party started so Aunt Lis and Mom-Mom took her for a walk and sure enough she fell fast asleep.

Party Time!

Summer just loved her princess chair. Mom and I found this at out neighborhood garage sale and Summer LOVED IT! She still is using it. She loves to climb on it and hear it play it's princess music. So sweet! I was hoping to at least get one picture of her in but she ended up opening most of her presents from it!

Cake time! Really Mommy? You want me to wear this hat? Well Summer didn't end up wearing it but I did get some great pictures taken by Ms. Debbie that morning. I am sure you will see more of them soon!

This is what her smash cake looked like after we took it away from her! I have to tell you now whenever she sees cake (we have a lot of birthdays to celebrate in May) she thinks it's time to DIG in! Very amusing!

In the favor bags we included 2 coasters that hold pictures. Aunt Lis took pictures of everyone who came to the party so I can mail them pictures for their coasters!

Notice the outfit change? Even with a bib Summer got cake everywhere. Luckily we had a cupcake dress from the invites we could slip on next! Here Hadley is giving Summer a gift that she wrapped and picked up just for her cousin.
