Beginning of March 3/1– 3/15

   

We started off the month with Donuts with Dad! Summer was very excited to have Daddy take her to school and come in for some tasty donuts! Here’s a couple of cute pictures before they headed to school. Summer was all dressed up with a necklace on as well. So sweet!

    

Tucker is on the move…luckily just by rolling and scooting so far! It’s funny how with your first you want every milestone so fast and can’t wait. Well with Tucker we want him to take his time. Although I did catch Summer trying to teach him to crawl the other morning. I don’t think she realizes what he will be able to get into once he is really on the move!

   

“Pp” day at Mommy and Me! Summer and I had our hair fixed up the same way! We all got to wear our PJ’s and eat pancakes! Fun and yummy!

We are going from our Winter (really spring) into Spring (getting hot like summer) so here are the kiddos at the park! Tucker’s first swing ride! He wasn’t really sure what to think! Summer was upset that I wasn’t pushing her because I was taking a picture. Life sure can be tough for a 2 year old!

Summer sure can make her baby brother giggle from the belly! I also took some video of her making him giggle. It just makes you smile and smile and smile. I am so glad she really loves him so much! So far so good (but like I said, watch out when he starts getting into her stuff…LOL).

Summer grew this special plant at school. She would tell us how it was made. God made it first and then she put dirt, gave it water, and Ms. Mary helped too! She is very articulate and doesn’t miss a thing…watch what you say around Ms. Summer Lynn!

PS- I already posted St. Patrick’s Day so next up is our 1 week trip to Maryland!!

Fabulous February Fun!!

Moving right along…last February post! Getting closer and closer to being more caught up! Here’s more pictures of the silly, fun adventures of Summer and Tucker!

Janna came to visit for 4 days and we all had lots of fun! It was so good to see her! Thanks for coming to GA. We are heading to MD for a week so and I can’t wait to see her again and many more friends and family! Whoo hooo!

Sweet little guy starting to sit more on his own. He does the tripod sit or the chew on the feet sit most of the time! Summer was trying to get in one of these pictures! Silly girl!

More firsts…Bumbo (we have 2, this one is really a “Summer” seat , the brand) and sitting in the high chair at breakfast.

Summer wanted me to snap a picture of her too at breakfast! Love the wild hair!

Getting ready to walk the kids to the park in the double jogger! I did it! Had to pump up the tires and get everything situated but it really works well! They love being next to each other! We also have a trailer that we can put them in together to pull them with our bikes. Well Tom can pull them with his bike. I am just learning to use a 20 speed bike. It’s cute and they love it!

All dressed up for Praise Town at school. It’s a community helpers day where the kids go from room to room and get to participate in activities like you would in a community. They got to make pizza, decorate cookies, go to the movies, build at Home Depot and more. Summer had a great time! They do so many great things at her school and Summer just loves it (and it makes Mommy feel good as well). The kids get to dress up so Summer was a baker! I think she loved the mitt the most!

Love these shirts that cousin Sarah got for the kids! It was nice to have them in bigger sizes so they can wear them know (and much to Summer’s dismay she has pretty much outgrown her other Big Sister shirts. I assure her she is still indeed a big sister).

With some layering Tucker now fits into his Papa Jacks T-shirt! Thanks Mr. Bill! Papa Jacks is a country kitchen that we go to every Saturday morning. They are known for their biscuits. However, for now Summer and I share hoecakes (corn pancakes) and eggs when we go. She’s not that into biscuits yet…I know why…. she just LOVES the syrup on the hoecakes!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day 3/17/12

It’s all about the green and Easter? Yes, I wished Summer at Happy St Patrick’s Day when she woke up and when we got downstairs she said “Happy Easter” to Tucker! LOL I explained that it wasn’t Easter yet (although we have been reading Easter books and stuffing eggs for Egg Hunts) and that it was St. Patrick’s Day! Pretty much she likes all the bling for St. Patty’s Day-headband, necklace and bracelet! I also included some of her art work from school. She does a ton and I have been saving it but realized I should start taking more pictures to share with you. It’s so sweet and she loves crafts!

Oh and a couple other things I keep forgetting to mention….She now calls herself Summer instead of Dummer and Tucker has been sleeping through the night for the last couple of weeks! Whooo hoooo! Only had to let him cry one night (he didn’t cry all night but when he woke up I didn’t go to him) and now he sleeps 11-12 hours each night! Summer was sleeping on her own by 3 months and he had gotten pretty good until he got RSV(beginning of February) and that just messed things up. We are back on track and Mommy feels better. Sleep makes a difference!

More Valentine’s Day!

2/13 and 2/14

By the time all the Valentine’s Day celebrations started Summer was all better and Tucker was getting there. Summer got to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Mommy and Me, school and with Mommy and Daddy! She thought it was Halloween and Christmas combined…all the candy and all the gifts! She got candy and gifts at all the parties and from Mommy and Daddy, Mom-Mom and Pops, Grandma Susie and Grandpa Max and GAB and GUJ (Beth and Jerry). Tucker got some things as well. Summer started saying Trick My Treat (what she says for Trick or Treat) and Merry Christmas! LOL She was a bit confused so we talked about Valentine’s Day and how it is time for spreading love! Well she did just that…everywhere we went she told the people we saw Happy Valentine’s Day and I love you! This includes Ms. Susan at the dry cleaners (who always give Summer a lollipop and if Summer isn’t there she leaves a lollipop in Summer’s car seat), the waitress at the restaurant, all of her friends, teachers and the list goes on and on. Summer was ready to spread the love! :)

     

Summer picked out this special heart Hello Kitty shirt to wear to Mommy and Me! She also had on her LOVE jeans.

      

Tucker’s First Valentine’s Day! You can tell he is feeling better! So sweet!

      

In the morning, Daddy was Summer’s Valentine but by the time we got to school for the Valentine’s Day party Summer’s latest Valentine was Jackson!

As part of their party the kids got to decorate big heart cookies that Mom-Mom made for the class! Summer fully decorated hers and and soon you will see that she was one of the few 2 year olds to eat ALL of it! The girl loves sweets!

Summer with her teacher, Ms. Mary, who is a local star in Summer’s eyes. She lives in our neighborhood so we go by Ms. Mary’s house sometimes and we have run into her at the grocery store! WOW!

     

We had a family dinner at a local Mexican Restaurant! Tom surprised us girls with some cards and gifts! So sweet! Summer was very excited with all her goodies from Daddy and Mommy!
