Summer’s 3rd Birthday was so much fun! You have seen the school party, Mommy and Me party and her birthday blog post so you know all about Summer turning 3! A couple days after she turned 3 we continued to celebrate in Disney World (blog posts on that coming soon)!
Here’s her actual birthday!
Summer loved having her door decorated! She wondered if the Easter Bunny came and did it in the middle of the night.
Summer also loved all the balloons around the house and the birthday decorations. I went with the Rapunzel theme for this celebration (we had princess, mickey and Minnie for some of her other 3rd birthday celebrations),
Tom, most unhappily, was away for Summer’s actual birthday. :( So we decided to give her some presents a head of time and then some the morning of and that night. Plus her big gift of a trip to Disney World was yet to come! We did decide that I would give her the bitty baby bed, her birthday book and her cards and gifts that were mailed that morning. We also decided that every year (regardless if Tom is home, when her party is, etc.) that we will let the kids give each other their gifts the morning of. So Tucker had his gift ready for Summer to open! A sweet tradition that I think they will both love as the years go on. Summer’s birthday the past 2 years was the day of her party so we didn’t need to figure out all these traditions. We had a big party and when everyone left we did gifts!
Needless to say Summer was thrilled with her birthday morning!
Tucker’s gift was an Ariel doll with some clothes! “How did Tucker know I needed Ariel?”
Thanks Tucker! Summer was also thrilled with all the balloons around.
After her special morning at home we went to Monkey Joe’s to play. She had been asking every day after swim lessons. Her swim lessons are in the same complex as Monkey Joe’s.
Having fun with Tucker and Honor Grace.
Bouncing and sliding are so much fun in a tutu birthday dress!!!
After Monkey Joe’s Summer went to play with her best friend Addison. They got to do their make up and play dress up! Addison wasn’t able to come to Monkey Joe’s but the girls were happy to still get to see each other.
I had another gift for Summer for that night when celebrating with family.
Summer loves Mexican and especially guacamole. We buy avocados all the time. I decided we would go to Mexican for her birthday dinner! Mom-Mom, Pops and Aunt Lis joined us.
Summer got to wear a sombrero and have a special dessert at the end of our dinner!
She literally licked the plate clean. Good thing it was this silly girls birthday! :)
My sweet baby loves! Gotta love trying to get group photos! Tucker had just turned 7 months the day before.
Summer’s night gift from Tom and I-a Rapunzel dress! She was very happy!
She also got lots of Hello Kitty toys from Aunt Lis and a princess castle with lots of princesses from Mom-Mom and Pops. So fun!!!
Aunt Lis made Summer a special bracelet with all of Summer’s favorite things on it. You can see it in this picture!
More dessert…cake time! Tucker was trying to get to the cake!
Happy Birthday, dear Summer! Happy Birthday to you!
She is a pro at blowing out the candles!
Look at that tongue! LOL
Summer got the “3” part of her cake! It was very yummy! Thanks Mom-Mom!
Summer wore her Rapunzel outfit the next day, all day! :)
It was a great 3rd Birthday for Summer Lynn!
