Christmas Part 3-Christmas Break

Christmas Break
So our Christmas adventures continued when Summer's Grandpa Max, Grandma Susie, Great Aunt Beth (GAB) and Great Uncle Jerry (GUJ) showed up for the week.
We had a busy week of celebrating Christmas, Grandma Susie's Birthday, spending time together playing games and doing some touristy things! It was a great visit and our house seems quiet without them.
Next up: Happy New Year 2010! I will get caught up soon! :)

Hanging out with Daddy and Grandma Susie. All of a sudden our tree is full of presents again!

Aunt Lis stops by to see Summer in the cute outfit she got Summer for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Grandma Susie!
We went to Ninja, a Japanese Steak House for Susie's Birthday dinner.
A fun time was had by all!
That drink looks Yummy, Mom-Mom!

Not sure what I think of Margarita's GAB and GUJ!

Oh look- Mommy was there too-she tends to hide behind the camera!

Getting ready to catch some steak in our mouths! Always an amusement at these restaurants!

Good Job Great Aunt Beth (GAB).

Grandma Susie's "Birthday Hat."

Summer loves books!

Fun with Grandma Susie!

We went to Atlantic Station to walk around and have some lunch.
Check out this Christmas tree!

Who's hiding behind Summer?

Oh it's GUJ-Great Uncle Jerry!

I love driving around in my car! Beep! Beep!

Tom and I are big fans to "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" on the Food Network. Tom got a book of places that have been features and recipes. We decided to head to Tucker, GA and try out Matthew's Cafe which we have seen on the show and was featured in the book!
It was some very yummy and oh so fating country cookin'.
The banana pudding was so good and filling I could have had it for my meal!

And yes, you could so tell we were the tourist there...we had 3 cameras out taking pictures! :)

After stuffing ourselves we headed to Stone Mountain-Christmas! Summer had to be all bundled up in her hat and blanket. She stayed nice and warm cuddled up next to her Grandmas!
It was so cold all week. This was the warmest day. Very cold for GA-high of 42 if I remember correctly!
Summer, as always, is such a trooper. She stayed happy all day in the freezing weather.

Here we are getting reading to go on the sky lift up to the top of the mountain. Can you tell we are standing in front of the background? I am sure I can crop it so it looks "real."

Waiting in line.

At the top. It wasn't that much colder since there was no wind. That was a good thing!

There's downtown Atlanta!

Playing with Grandpa Max!
