Happy New Year!
2010
I am finally caught up! Here's pictures from New Year's Eve through January 10th. YAY!
Summer is now 8 months old (1/1/10) and is 27" tall (up 1/2 inch from last month) and is 18lbs 13 oz (up over a pound from last month). She continues to grow and change all the time. She is such a joy in our life and we know we will love seeing her change even more in 2010.
Hope 2010 is treating you well so far!

Summer spent New Year's Eve with Grandpa Max and Grandma Susie and in her crib fast asleep!
On New Year's Day my friend, Melanie, and I ran our first 5K. As you learned from Daisy's Christmas letter I am training (with Mel and some other fun ladies) for a 1/2 marathon in March.
It felt so good to do the 5K. I am so proud of us!
Melanie's father in law told her that what you do on New Year's Day is what you will do for the year. If that's true we sure had a good start!
Summer is 8 months old!
It's getting harder and harder to get the monthly bunny picture!
Maybe sitting with the bunny is the way to go!
Here's Sophie with her Mom Amy.
Happy Birthday Sophie!
Summer slept through the party.
Summer is always so fascinated with the scale as I get ready in the morning. This time I grabbed the camera and got her weight.
18.8 lbs!
All Smiles! :)
Summer is trying to climb the stairs. She has mastered the bonus room steps, which are a little shorter. Can someone say baby gates?
This is Emmy. I watch her a couple days a week after school. Emmy loves to help with Summer and Summer just adores Emmy. Here Emmy is feeding Summer sweet potatoes. Summer just happily sat there and let Emmy feed her. So sweet!
Here are Emmy and Summer in the "Snow Storm" that the kids got out 2 1/2 days for. It was pretty icy and if you watched the news at all I am sure you saw Atlanta on it for all the ice related car crashes. I have to admit the roads really weren't all that great. They just don't treat them like they do in MD and the temperature has been below freezing for a while now.
