Grandpa Max and Grandma Susie came to visit for a long weekend a couple of weekends ago! It sure was a busy weekend but we enjoyed spending time together.
They flew in on Thursday night so Summer was excited to see them when they came down the next morning. I think our Skype visits and looking at pictures helped her to recognize them.
Saturday I ran a 1/2 marathon right near our house and that night we had Tom's Birthday Tennis Round Robin. Then all of a sudden it was already Sunday and time for Grandpa Max and Grandma Susie to leave. It was a wonderful visit, although too quick.

Zooma 1/2 Marathon in Chateau Elan It was soooo cold and hilly but I finished! Tom was such a great supporter. He was there taking pictures at mile 10 and then at the finish line!
Janet and I trained together again for this 1/2 marathon and I couldn't have done it without her! Thanks for being such a great training partner and friend!

Happy Birthday Tom! So about a week after Tom's Birthday we had his annual tennis round robin in our neighborhood. It was freezing but a good time was had by all. My Mom made this yummy fun cake!
