The Sawyer Visit

November 19th- 23rd

Our dear friends, The Sawyer Family, came to visit (and meet Tucker) on their Thanksgiving break from Maryland!

Colleen and I have been friends since high school and Jason and Tom quickly became friends when we got together. Their older daughter, Leah, 7, is my goddaughter and I just love her to pieces. I am sure you remember seeing her (and her family) on the blog before. She has come to stay with us the past 2 summers. Sadie, who just turned 3, is close to Summer's age so it is fun with the girls being almost the same age.

This trip poor Sadie had to go to Urgent Care because she was sick and had a high fever. The poor thing had strep and an ear infection. We made the best of it and the rest of us stayed healthy so it all worked out.

Here's what we were up to:

Colleen was thrilled to meet Tucker who just seemed to love hanging out with "Aunt" Colleen. They were really sweet together.

While Sadie stayed home to rest we took Leah and Summer to the Mall of GA to ride the rides, have lunch and shop at Build a Bear.

Bowling Fun! All of us went bowling on the Sunday they were here. Summer was really fascinated by the ball return machine.

Here's Colleen helping Sadie bowl.

Tucker slept through the whole outing.

Tom helped Summer bowl and here they are waiting to see how many pins she is going to knock down!

**We also saw Santa and celebrated Christmas while they were here. That will be the next post.***

Thanks again for coming Colleen, Jason, Leah and Sadie! We love being together!
