A Thankful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was wonderful! It was our first time hosting at our house and Tom did a great job. I am the organizer and Tom is the cook so we work well together. He did 2 turkeys...one smoked on the Big Green Egg and one in the oven (brined the day before). He was a busy chef and everything turned out delicious with plenty for leftovers for days! YUM!!!

It was a Thankful Thanksgiving that started off with Summer and I watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade (recorded so we could fast forward the commercials and any boring parts in case you were wondering how I kept a 2 year old interested). After that we had a big brunch at my parents house and then home to get ready for the Thanksgiving Feast that we had that evening so GAB (Great Aunt Beth) and GUJ(Great Uncle Jerry) could make it!

To think we are about to have more yummy feasts again this weekend with Christmas Eve (Tom) and Christmas Day (my parents) meals!

We are so thankful for these 2 sweet children of ours! Summer 2 1/2 yrs old and Tucker almost 8 weeks old.

Aunt Lis with her little "burrito".

GAB gets to meet Tucker! She had a great time holding Tucker their whole visit. He is such a cuddler that he didn't mind one bit!

Jerry took over carving one of the Turkey's so Tom could focus on some other yummy Thanksgiving item.

Tucker hung out in his glider for the meal.

Aunt Beth brought Summer a special gift...big girl nail polish!
Summer had her fingernails and toenails polished!

Thanks for coming to visit GAB and GUJ!

So I just realized these next photos needed to be rotated. Oops! Just turn your head or computer! LOL :)
