I know we all say it but it really is unbelievable that our sweet Tucker is turning one already! The year has flown by.

He is ALL BOY but yet so cuddly and sweet. Climbing and walking are his favorites right now. Yes, I said WALKING! He started walking 4 days ago and each day has doubled his steps. It’s so cute to see him walking and I am so ready for him to be walking everywhere. We are so busy and on the go that it will help to have him walking instead of crawling on the floors (less germs I am hoping).

It’s been a year of firsts, giggles, and growing hearts! I have so much love for both of our kids. It’s amazing. Summer and Tucker love each other so much. Tucker pretty much lets Summer do whatever she wants and when Tucker has had enough he pulls her hair. He only pulls Summer’s hair, not anyone else’s. It seems to be his only way to get back at her.

Tucker LOVES to eat! He will pretty much eat anything except for eggs. He already loves milk and drinks from any sippy cup. He figured that out quickly when he has found various ones of Summer’s. He knows the sign for “more” which is nicer then his yelling Mama to get more food.

He loves to wave and play “SOOOOO Big”. He claps and as I have said before climbs! He can climb up both set of stairs in a blink of an eye. Or climb on a table, chair etc.

He says, Mama and Dada (and has said it to Tom a ton) and I think he has said, “Daisy”  (our dog). He babbles nonstop and tries to have full conversations with Summer.

We can’t wait to see what Tucker’s next year brings!

I.N.K. Interactive Neighborhood for Kids

Another fun event with MOPS! This was my playdate for the Summer and I opened it up to our neighborhood friends too! INK is great for little ones. We went last summer with MOPS as well and since it was one of our favorites I made sure we got to go again this year.

It’s an old industrial building that has been turned into a “interactive neighborhood.”  Each room has a different theme that allow the kids to use their imaginations. There is a grocery store, vet office, restaurant, music room, dr’s office, dentist and so much more. There are also full size vehicles. Very fun!

 

My first attempt at braiding Summer’s hair! Not too bad. here hair is so curly and fine that it is hard to get it to stay in.

First Stop-The Grocery Store! Always a big hit at INK! They even have little shopping carts.

The music room! Ms. Angela is showing Summer and Brielle how to play a tune. Tucker is making music with a guitar!

More music making for Tucker as Summer head to the Vet office to take care of the animals.

Summer liked “working” at the office. However, she didn’t know why the phone had a cord. LOL Our phones are cordless and of course she uses our cell phones.

Summer was too busy playing Dr to stop and get a photo. She loves the show “Doc McStuffins” so she was playing Doc! “Time for your Check up, Time for your check up”. I can hear the song in my head from the show!

Fun times at INK!

Another Zoo Trip! 7/9/12

 

We have been good about taking advantage of our Annual Zoo pass. This visit we invited some MOPS (Mothers Of PreSchoolers) friends to go with us. Angela brought her baby Brielle and Amanda brought her 4 kids. I think we were all able to get in for free except one adult. Not bad!

Summer and Tucker had the best time playing with her MOPS friends and and seeing all the animals.

Happy Baby! Tucker was 9 months old!

We were walking from the petting zoo and we turned around to see Summer and Dillon holding hands! So sweet! They had a great time together at the zoo. Amanda and I were constantly saying, “Come on Summer. Come on Dillon”.

Ms. Angela got to take Summer and Kaelyn on the train. I stayed with the strollers!

July Random Pics

 

There are a lot more July events to come! However, I was going through and these didn’t have theme to go with so here are some cute ones of the kids around the house and a little out and about!

 

Summer has a BIG imagination and loves her “friends”. Here friends in this case being her stuffed animals. She does role call, plays school, plays Mommy, and numerous other pretend ideas all the time.  She was so focused on what she was doing  that she didn’t notice the camera.

 

Some of her friends are ready to watch a movie at the movie theater. Summer left to go get them some snacks!
