January Continued!

These pictures are roughly from Mid-January until the end of January!

My friend, Jennessa, from MOPS and I decided to run the Hot Chocolate 15K back in November! Here we are with our kids to pick up our packets and fun sweatshirts!

The kids had a great time at the expo as well. There were bounce houses, chocolate and of course hot chocolate!

Here we are ready to do our 15K (9.3 miles).

After the 15K we got chocolate fondue, hot chocolate and lots of yummy treats to dip in the chocolate. I ate every last drop!!!

A MOPS play date at Chuck E Chasse! Tucker absolutely loved the carousal. Around around he would go and when it would stop he would sign more and say,“Mo, Mo”…his words for More!

Summer also had a great time meeting Chuck E Cheese, sliding and playing the games. She earned enough tickets for a cotton candy! Oh boy all those tokens for a cotton candy. LOL

So here is Summer enjoying her cotton candy the next day while Tucker was napping (and after a late bath- I should have let her have it before the bath).

The 1/2 way through the school year photo shoot! Those are apples on her skirt! I just can’t believe that she is now over 1/2 way through her 3 year old school year and her 2nd year in preschool. I don’t think I have said it recently but time really does fly! My little girl is so grown up and knows so much and talks so much! Every day she truly makes me laugh (and sometimes want to scream-she has an answer back to everything)!

 

Next up: Vegas Baby!!! Tom had a conference for work in Vegas and I was able to fly out and meet him! It was a great trip! When I got there Tom was working so I headed to the Cosmopolitan Hotel for some dinner (dinner for me, late lunch Vegas time). I ate at Holsteins-a very good recommendation from a friend. I had an amazing burger and even better milkshake!

These pics were after a wonderfully relaxing day at the spa at the Venetian and the Palazzo where we were staying! Once again Tom was working while I was playing. Thanks husband you are the best!!!

The Venetian!

We met up with Tom’s coworker Jason and his wife Annie for a fun filled evening that started with zip lining in old town Vegas! So fun!!!

A drink after the zip lining and my hair doesn’t look so bad! LOL It was a lot of fun!

Here’s the tutu we got for Summer in Vegas at the Cirque Du Soleil shop! Also some new necklaces. She was thrilled. Tucker got 3 juggling balls and was quite happy with his “ba, ba, ba’s.”

So January was a fun and quick month! I guess every month passes pretty quickly. Up next Valentine’s and lots of Princesses!!!
