Leah comes to GA!

After visiting Maryland Summer and flew back with Leah to GA. She came to visit for several days and then the rest of the Sawyer family came to visit as well. These are photos from June 27th-July 1st. Last year was the first year Leah came to visit on her own and I am glad we were able to do it again this year. I hope we can continue her special visits as the years go on.

After landing in GA it was time to beat the heat by going to the pool. Summer wanted to wear her goggles like Leah.
Fun in the splash pool!

Leah LOVED the slide and went on it over and over again. Her only breaks were adult swim times.

Leah requested that we go to Waffle House again this year. They were out of hats but the waffles were yummy!

After breakfast at the Waffle House we went with my parents to Stone Mountain for the day!

This was inside an old barn! There were lots of activities for the kids to do and it was air conditioned for this pregnant Mama!

Mom and Dad

We rode the train and got to meet the conductor!

On the train! Summer loved riding the choo choo and Leah was looking for animals. We only saw some squirrels.

We did the "Ride the Ducks" ride. It's the boat that can drive on land. Pretty neat! You also get some duck whistles that were a big hit with the girls (and my Dad)!

Leah got a turn driving the "Duck" while it was a boat!

Summer's turn!

We took the Skyride up to the top of the mountain. The girls found a big puddle so off went their shoes and into the puddle!

Shoes back on and time to explore the top!

Leah running to see the Atlanta skyline. It was a cloudy day so you can't see it as well but if you look closely you can see some of the buildings.

Leah got a visor as a souvenir.
When the rest of the Sawyer Family joined us in GA we went to Mayfield Dairy for the free tour and the yummy ice cream. For all of those who have taken the tour in the past it has changed. The movie doesn't have any cartoon in it any more and you don't get to see them filling the milk jugs. They show you another video in the back. Very hard with 2 two year olds. At least it was free and as always the ice cream is the best!

They do have some "cows" that the girls were able to milk.

The girls enjoyed the rocking chairs as well!

It was a wonderful visit with Leah and then with Colleen, Jason and Sadie! Thanks for coming to GA! Can't wait to see you again!
