So I know I owe a bunch of Thanksgiving Feasts posts but here are some pictures of the kids getting ready for Christmas in November! We will get back to all Thanksgiving Festivities soon! Then of course we need to move on to December!
Summer and Tucker each have their own Christmas trees. This is the third year Summer has had her pink tree and we just got Tucker his. They have them in their rooms and Summer was quite excited to decorate hers all by herself this year!
Our elf, Lolli, has also appeared and been quite helpful on keeping an eye on the kids to report back to Santa!
Time to get out the pink tree and decorations for Summer’s room!
Tucker of course LOVED the box the tree comes in. I also put up his new tree. It does have ornaments and a tree skirt now. Look for an updated picture in the future!
I put Tucker to bed and helped Summer find more Christmas goodies-including all of her Christmas books,hats, tutus and outfits. She decided to put on her Christmas pj’s and sequin hat to finish the decorating.
The final product of Summer’s decorating. She wouldn’t let me change a thing. No problem!
Summer found a hat for me as well. Then was a little silly in her room and added her pink sparkly shoes to her outfit!
Daddy came to see how it looked and shocker she let him change and fix the ornaments. So now her initials are together and the snowman facing out. LOL Thanks Dada! I will post an updated picture of the tree in a future post.
Once the tree was up Lolli appeared! Lolli, our elf was there when Summer woke up the next morning. Summer was so excited to see her! Summer wanted to know when Tucker’s elf is going to come and will Tucker’s be a boy? We decided that since Summer’s elf Lolli came when Summer was 2 that Tucker will get his boy elf next year when he is 2. Whew! Glad she helped resolve that problem!
Lolli the next night decided to put our our Christmas card. Summer was really happy about that!
Summer has had this Christmas tutu since she was 7 months old. Our friends, The Sims, got it for her for her first Christmas. It still fits and she loves to wear it whenever she can.
Summer put a pink headband on Tucker and he thought that was super funny!
