Christmas Eve!
Lolli’s final spot was at the top of our tree holding on to the star! She was ready for Santa to come get her.
Christmas cards galore! I love love love sending and receiving “real” mail! Thanks to all of you that sent us a Christmas card this year.
Our mantel and some of Summer’s Christmas crafts on Tom’s homemade wreath!
The tree (half decorated)! Tucker sitting under it!
Aunt Lis and Summer looking at the I Pad. Summer and Tucker received gifts in the mail this day from the Glodek family. Summer got a new Rapunzel dress and immediately switched out of her Christmas dress to her new one. So a Rapunzel dress is what she wore for Christmas Eve.
It’s our tradition to host Christmas Eve dinner at our house. Tom does a great job. Tucker loved checking on his Dada outside cooking on the Big Green Egg.
Boxes are so fun!
These are funny! Trying to get all 4 looking! :)
Got one!
Silly kids with Pops! Summer with her Rapunzel dress and Aunt Lis’ Lilly hat! Lilly is Aunt Lis cat so anything leopard print is a “Lilly”.
Me and my sweet girl! This is Summer’s 4th Christmas and Tucker’s 2nd! Hard to believe. Time truly does fly!
Dinner time!
We decided to make some fresh cookies to give to Santa. Tucker’s turn with Aunt Lis on the I Pad.
Santa’s plate and Reindeer food! Christmas PJ’s!!! Mom found some for Tucker that fit a little better then the sock monkey ones!
Time to put out the reindeer food!
We saved a reindeer cookie and there are the fresh ones all ready for Santa.
Santa gets some hot chocolate with a BIG marshmallow this year.
Putting everything on the plate. The reindeer didn’t get carrots this year because we put out reindeer food and we don’t want to overfeed them.
Plate and hot chocolate ready to go for Santa. Tucker was already sound asleep. Summer got to get a piggy back ride upstairs on Dada.
One last picture of Summer’s tree. We read “ ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” every Christmas Eve. Next year we will make sure Tucker is up for this tradition.
Summer had a better understanding of what was going to happen this year. And although quite excited she wasn’t anxious so bedtime was easy. She was asleep by 7:30 and enjoyed reading the story-twice!
